Felipe Nasr has added pressure this season

(Sauber F1 Team)

New Formula One driver Felipe Nasr has stated that he feels added pressure going to into this season coming from Brazil.

Nasr joins the Sauber F1 Team in 2015 following a stint as Williams Martini Racing’s test and reserve driver last year. Brazil has one of the most passionate Formula One fan bases with triple world champion Ayrton Senna having come from Brazil.

Nelson Piquet and Emerson Fittipaldi also won the Formula One world championship. Although Nasr is not yet expecting to win the championship this season, he has stated that he has already achieved one of his goals as Brazilian racing driver as he has made into a Formula One race seat. The next step for Nasr is to become successful in the sport.

The Sauber F1 Team had a difficult season in 2014, failing to score a single point. This season however the Swiss based outfit have secured new sponsors in the form of Banco Do Brasil from Felipe Nasr and Tetra Pak from Marcus Ericsson.

The Sauber F1 Team will once again be powered by Ferrari who the team hope will help the team to move back up the grid.
