(Williams Martini Racing Team)
The Williams Martini Racing Team have added to their
partnership portfolio with the announcement on Friday that they have come to an
agreement with Alpinestars as their new technical apparel supply.
The new agreement will see Williams’s drivers Felipe Massa,
Valtteri Bottas, Susie Wolff and Alex Lynn wearing Alpinestars boots, race
suits, under layers and gloves.
Williams Martini Racing Team’s mechanics will
also be supplied with overalls from Alpine Stars. It is the latest in a list of
new partners to join Williams Martini Racing ahead the 2015 Formula One season.
Speaking about the new partnership, Williams Martini Racing’s
Deputy Team Principal and Commercial Director, Claire Williams said:
'Alpinestars are known as one of the leading suppliers of high tech performance wear for top level motorsport and we’re delighted to confirm a new multi-year partnership. We will be working together to make sure that our drivers and pit crew have high performing gear that will give our team the edge next season both in terms of style and technology.'
Alpinestars President and CEO Gabriele Mazzarolo commented
on the new partnership saying:
