Bianchi to test in place of injured Raikkonen

The Ferrari Formula One team have confirmed that Marussia's Jules Bianchi will fill in for the teams race driver Kimi Raikkonen who suffered a severe crash during Sunday's British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit. Raikkonen had been due to test for the team on Wednesday, the second day of the in-season Silverstone test. 

Ferrari test driver Pedro Dela Rosa will drive F14-T on Wednesday while Fernando Alonso will be at the teams factory in Maranello, Italy to carry out simultaneous work on the simulator to check the data being collected by the team at the track.

Ferrari along with Marussia will carry out work on behalf of Pirelli tomorrow before Infiniti Red Bull Racing and the Lotus F1 Team test for the Italian company while the Lotus F1 Team have been asked by Pirelli to evaluate prototype 18'' Pirelli tyre's.
