Formula One rookie Max Verstappen is hoping that he can
score points in 2015. The Dutch driver, the son of former Formula One driver
Jos Verstappen will make his Formula One race debut with the Scuderia Toro
Rosso team alongside fellow rookie Carlos Sainz Jr.
The teenager will become the youngest ever Formula One debut
when he makes his debut at the Australian Grand Prix in the middle of March.
Verstappen has confirmed that the wind tunnel data from
their 2015 chassis has been encouraging and the team are hoping that they will
be more competitive this season. The Italian team finished the 2014 Formula One
season in 7th place on 30 points, 20 ahead of the Lotus F1 Team.
Verstappen knows however that Wins and podiums are out of
the question in 2015 however points look like a realistic prospect. The Dutch
driver believes that the fact that points are now awarded down to tenth place
will help him, particularly if there are accidents of weather affected Grand
Prix.
