Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Executive Director (Business) Toto Wolff has warned against writing off Ferrari this season. The Italian team had an extremely difficult 2014 Formula One campaign which resulted in just two podium finishes and a fourth place finish in the Constructors Championship.

This year, Ferrari have a new driver with four time world champion Sebastian Vettel joining Kimi Raikkonen at the Maranello based outfit.

Raikkonen, who returned to Scuderia Ferrari last season stated that he expected his first season back with the team to be a difficult one and the Finn is looking forward to going head to head with Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari.

Wolff, whose Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team go into the 2015 season as reigning Constructors championship is convinced that Ferrari will be competitive as soon as this season.

Wolff believes that Vettel’s four world championships will be an incentive for everyone at Ferrari. Former Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has re-joined McLaren ahead of this season, teaming up with Jenson Button and will be ‘dangerous’ according to Wolff.
