American healthcare executive Brad Hollinger has increased
his shareholding in the Williams Martini Racing Team to 10 percent having
purchased some shares belonging to Toto Wolff.
The news means that Hollinger now has the same stake in the
team as co-founder Patrick Head while Team Principal Sir Frank Williams remains
the biggest shareholder with 52 percent. Hollinger believes that the sport is
on the verge of big explosion and one area where he feels this will happen in
the United States where he feels the sport has yet to tap into its full
potential State side.
The Williams F1 Team had a fantastic season in 2014 as the
finished the year in third place in the championship.
