Hollinger increases Williams shareholding

American healthcare executive Brad Hollinger has increased his shareholding in the Williams Martini Racing Team to 10 percent having purchased some shares belonging to Toto Wolff.

The news means that Hollinger now has the same stake in the team as co-founder Patrick Head while Team Principal Sir Frank Williams remains the biggest shareholder with 52 percent. Hollinger believes that the sport is on the verge of big explosion and one area where he feels this will happen in the United States where he feels the sport has yet to tap into its full potential State side.

The Williams F1 Team had a fantastic season in 2014 as the finished the year in third place in the championship.
