McLaren Honda’s Jenson Button was at the Barcelona Circuit
de Catalunya on Monday ahead of the start of the second Formula One winter test
to conduct a filming day in the MP4-30.
The current FIA Formula One regulations stipulate that teams
can conduct two promotional filming days in a year which is limited to 100KM of
running per day.
Button will be back in the cockpit of the MP4-30 on Thursday
as winter testing gets underway and will drive again on Friday before Fernando
Alonso takes over on Saturday and Sunday.
The Woking based outfit have endured a difficult start to
their new partnership with Honda completing just 79 laps over the opening four
days of winter testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain two weeks ago.
Honda will bring an update package to their power unit for
this weeks’ test at the Barcelona Circuit de Catalunya.
