The Lotus F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean has said that he believes that continuity will be key to ensure that the Enstone outfit have a good start to the 2015 season.

Despite missing the opening day of winter testing in Jerez two weeks ago, once the team got on track they racked up the mileage with their new Mercedes Benz power unit giving their engineering plenty of data to work with.

The team like all of the rivals head to the Barcelona Circuit de Catalunya in Spain this week for the second of three pre-season winter tests. The Frenchman is entering his fourth season with the Enstone based outfit this season and his second with team mate Pastor Maldonado and he knows all the engineers and mechanics at the team and they know what they all want more importantly what they need.

Julien Simon Chautemps becomes Romain Grosjean’s race engineer after his former race engineer Ayao Komatsu was promoted to the role of Chief Engineer.

The Enstone outfit have yet to confirm who will drive on what day over the course of the first Barcelona test.
