(Sahara Force India Formula One Team)
The Sahara Force India Formula One Team have announced that
Sergio ‘Checco’ Perez will have a new race engineer for 2015 with Tim Wright
joining the Silverstone based outfit from the Caterham F1 Team where he fulfilled
a similar role.
Wright began work with his new team last month and will be
the voice that Perez hears throughout this season when driving the car.
Sahara Force India missed the opening test of the winter in
Jerez two weeks ago however they are in Barcelona for this weeks’ test albeit
with the modified 2014 VJM07 as they continue to carry out work on the new
VJM08 back at base in Silverstone.
Although the team are yet to confirm which of their drivers
will be in the car on what days they have confirmed that both Nico Hulkenberg
and Sergio ‘Checco’ Perez will be in the car this week and therefore quashing
the speculation that one of their seats was being sold to the Mercedes AMG
PETRONAS F1 Team’s test and reserve driver Pascal Wehrlein.
