Massive improvement from McLaren Honda as Day 3 gets underway in Jerez

Fernando Alonso is back on track for McLaren Honda as the Spaniard continues to rack up the mileage on the MP4-30.

On Monday, Jenson Button ended the day in seventh place, 34 seconds behind Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel who topped the time sheets. The team experienced a small issue with the new car that was not related to the power unit. So far this morning Fernando Alonso is currently in 5^th place in the standings just 4.3s behind current pace setter Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Nico Rosberg.
