(McLaren-Honda)
McLaren-Honda have had to cut Fernando Alonso’s second day
in the MP4-30 short as the team discovered that there was a loss of water
cooling pressure in the Honda power unit.
The Spaniard had been completing steady running accumulating
mileage for the team. The double world champion completed 32 laps and the team
confirmed on their Twitter feed that the power unit has been removed and that
they hope to solve the problem and get back on track to conclude the Jerez
circuit tomorrow.
