Formula One Supremo Bernie Ecclestone has stated that he is disappointed in the way that Sebastian Vettel acted during what for the German was a difficult season for the German which saw him finish in fifth place on 167 points. While team mate Daniel Ricciardo finished the season in third place on 238 points.

Mr Ecclestone stated that he is disappointed in the way Vettel reacted to the poor reliability with the new Renault power unit.

Ecclestone was speaking in the official Formula One 2014 Review which was foreworded by the Formula One boss. Ecclestone stated that Vettel doesn't like losing and that in 2014 he was walking around the Paddock like a ‘defeated guy.’

Ecclestone also stated how disappointed he was with how Ferrari performed in 2014 as the team failed to win a race and finished the season in fourth place in the championship picking up just podium finishes in China and Hungary which came courtesy of Fernando Alonso.  In relation to Mercedes dominance, Ecclestone felt that the Brackley based outfit were right to let Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg race each other for the championship. He felt that if they had not done this it would have ruined the 2014 season.

Sebastian Vettel joins Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari next season in what forms part of a massive shake-up of the 2015 grid with Infiniti Red Bull Racing having a new driver having promoted Daniil Kvyat, while at McLaren is it believed that Fernando Alonso will join McLaren with the Spaniard having left Ferrari.
