New Formula One team owner Gene Haas has confirmed that he
intends to bid on a number of the items from the Marussia F1 Team that are up
for auction on Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The Haas F1 Team will make their Formula One debut in 2016,
and founder Gene Haas revealed that he has a list of the items up for auction
and will be putting in bids for some of the equipment.
The American NASCAR team
owner has confirmed that he intends to run his new team differently to the way
that the Caterham and Marussia F1 Team’s as he knows that if he went down the
same route there would be the same outcome.
Haas went on to say that building everything themselves is
not his business mentality and has already stated that his new outfit intend to
buy and rent as much equipment as they are allowed to.
The team will be powered by a supply of Ferrari power units
and with it comes the Italian teams expertise.
