(Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team)
The Korean Grand Prix has been removed from the latest draft
of the 2015 FIA Formula One calendar. The removal of the venue, which was due
to make its return to the calendar following a year out in 2014.
The race was set to return in 2015, however this has now
been taken off the calendar, despite this there remains a 21 race calendar for
next season with the sport waiting on where the final venue will be. It is
possible that New Delhi which lost its spot on the F1 calendar following the
2012 race could make a return.
It is also possible however that the South African Grand
Prix could return for the first time since 1993. New Jersey could also be a
possible destination for Formula One as the sport had been due to make its
debut there in 2013 could be slotted onto the calendar if the financial
situation with the race organisers can be sorted out.
