Former Sauber F1 Team driver Adrian Sutil has confirmed that
he is eyeing a drive at next year’s LeMans 24 Hours race.
The German lost his Formula One drive at the end of 2014
Formula One season following an extremely difficult year for the team which saw
them fail to score a single point. Sutil returned to Formula One in 2013 with
the Sahara Force India Formula One Team having sat out the 2012 Formula One
season.
The German has expressed an interest in following former
Formula One drivers Mark Webber, Anthony Davidson, Giancarlo Fisichella,
Sebastian Buemi and Neal Jani in competing at the famous race.
Sahara Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg will also compete at
the 2015 race after being granted permission by the Silverstone based outfit to
join Porsche for the race as well as a race that will form the build-up to the
24 Hours race.
It remains unclear as to whether or not Sutil has a drive
lined up for the race yet or not.
