Kvyat still not fully comfortable with F1

Scuderia Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat has admitted that he is still not 100 percent confident with Formula One despite making a solid start to his Formula One career with the Italian team which has seen the Russian score six points in the first eleven Grand Prix of the season.

In the opening race of the season Down Under in Melbourne's Albert Park Kvyat finished the race in 9th place to collect two world championship points after starting the race from an impressive eighth place on the grid. He followed this up with a tenth place finish in Malaysia picking up a single point while team mate Jean Eric Vergne retired from the race.

Kvyat has scored points in four Grand Prix this season and his performances have warranted praise from Infiniti Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner who said that the young Russian has been 'sensational' this season.

Kvyat believes that he will become more confident in the car during the second half of the season. The Russian has admitted that although in some Grand Prix this season the car has performed well he is yet to 'reach the maximum level' with the car.

Kvyat is currently in 15th place in the Driver's championship on six point's five behind Toro Rosso team mate Jean Eric Vernge.

In October Kvyat will become the first Russian Formula One driver to compete on home soil when the sport goes to the Sochi circuit for the inaugural Russian Grand Prix which takes place from October 10 - 12 so he will be hoping to put in a strong performance in-front of his home crowd.
