Ricciardo delighted to be beating Vettel

Inifiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo has stated that he is delighted to be beating world champion team mate Sebastian Vettel as the Australian is currently 43 points ahead of the German in the Drivers championship. The German is in 6th place in the championship wile Ricciardo is currently in third place in the championship. 

Ricciardo also has two race victories so far this season having taken his maiden Grand Prix victory at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal in June. The Australian has scored five podium's so far this season compared Vettel's two podium finishes.

Ricciardo is 71 point's adrift of championship leader Nico Rsoberg. The Australian is particularly looking for the Belgian Grand Prix next time out while he is also really looking forward to the Japanese Grand Prix in October. Ricciardo has admitted that the team have been on the back foot a little this season. Ricciardo has also stated that he just wants to continue learning from what he already knows from his first six months racing with Red Bull.

Ricciardo is delighted to be beating Vettel not only in qualifying put to be outperforming his team mate in Grand Prix is extremely encouraging for him for the remainder of the season.
