Infiniti Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner has revealed that there are a number of issues afftecting reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel as the German has struggled to get to grips with the new regulations and the new RB10.

Horner believes that one key aspect of his drivers struggle is fatigue following five seasons competing for the world championship which has included four back to back world championships. Horner believes that Vettel lost feeling with the car in the early stages of the 2014 F1 campaign with the team only now getting back up to speed which has seen Australian Daniel Ricciardo secure two victories at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and indeed last time out at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Horner has also revealed that another major issue that has played a key role in his season so far is the fact that the German has suffered a number of mechanical issue which lead to speculation that in the early stages of the 2014 seasonVettel has inherited Mark Webber's car from last season following three retirements so far this season including the opening race of the season Down Under in Melbourne, Australia.

The reigning world champions suffered a number of reliability issues over the course of pre-season testing which related to their new Renault 1.6 litre V6 turbo charged power unit and this has also contributed to his struggles this season as he has lacked confience in the ability of the car.

The quadruple world champion has staged some what of a recovery in recent Grand Prix however having scored 28 points in the last three Grand Prix of the season.
