New nose for Caterham in Spa

(Francois Flamand DPPI for Renault Sport F1)

The Caterham F1 Team have confirmed that they will run a new front wing and nose assembly for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix in Spa Francorchamps as they bid to reclaim 10th place in the Constructors championship. The Leafield based outfits regular rivals the Marussia F1 Team scored their very first Formula One points at this years Monaco Grand Prix when Jules Bianchi finished the race in 9th place.

Caterham recently undertook a major restructuring programme following a buy out by a group of Swiss/Middle Eastern investors who immediately went about attempting to turn things around within the team.

Caterham deputy team principal Manfredi Ravetto has stated that the new nose is a way of the team showing that they can start a revival that will allow them to score their first world championship point.

The team also confirmed that they will have an even bigger upgrade later in the season which they hope will move them up the grid towards the end of the season.
