(Sauber F1 Team)
The Sauber F1 Team's boss Monisha Keltenborn has stated that if her outfit finishes the season in 10th place in the Constructors championship this season it will be 'unacceptable'. Sauber have endured an extremely tough start to the 2014 season having initially struggled with the new for 2014 brake by wire system which has been adopted by all the teams this season.
The C33 has struggled for performance and the team have yet to score a point so far in 2014. The Swiss team are currently in 10th place in the championship with just the Caterham F1 Team behind them. Earlier this season at the Monaco Grand Prix the Marussia F1 Team scored two points with Jules Bianchi finishing the race in 9th place.
Sauber are currently powered by Ferrari who have struggled in terms of power output compared to Mercedes, however Keltenborn has confirmed that the team will stick with the Italian marque but revealed that they could have looked at other options for their power unit but they didn't.
Keltenborn revealed that Ferrari have been extremely good to the team since Peter Sauber bought the team back from BMW in 2009 and is sure that the Italian manufacturer is just as disappointed with Sauber's performance this season as the team are.
The team went into the 2014 season having scored points every year since 1993 and with the resources that the team have at their Hinwil HQ they should be in a position to score points in the second half of the season although the rate of development in Formula One is so great at the moment that team's like Sauber, Caterham and Marussia are finding it hard to compete.
