Infiniti Red Bull Racing has done a fantastic job so far in 2014 despite the fact that the team struggled during winter testing prior to the introduction of the new era of Formula One in the 1.6 litre V6 turbocharged power units.

In the opening race of the season, Down Under in Melbourne Australia Daniel Ricciardo finished the race in second place although the Australian was later excluded from the result. Ricciardo secured his first Formula One podium at the Spanish Grand Prix at the Barcelona Circuit de Catalunya when he finished the race in third place. He followed this up with another third place finish in Monte Carlo.

The Australian then claimed the Milton Keynes based outfits first win of the season at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal when he took victory by 4.2s from Mercedes driver and current championship leader Nico Rosberg.

Ricciardo finished the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in third place and took victory just before the Summer break at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Ricciardo is currently in third place in the drivers championship.

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel has had  difficult start to his title defense as he has struggled to find the right set up with the RB10 and is currently in 6th place in the Drivers championship. He has yet to win a Grand Prix this season but has finished on the podium with a third place in Malaysia and a thrid place in Canada.

Red Bull are currently in second place in the Constructors championship on 219 points, 174 behind leaders Mercedes
