Four time Olympic gold medalist Sir Ben Ainslie has admitted that he is keen to get Red Bull Racing's chief designer Adrian Newey on board to help him with the design process of an America's Cup entry.
Newey, an avid yacht enthusiast had in fact previously flirted with the idea of designing a racing yacht following his departure from McLaren however his plans changed when he was enticed to join Red Bull Racing.
Newey has been instrumental in the Milton Keynes based squads success in recent years having overseen the design of four world champion winning cars.
Sir Ben knows that he will have to wait for Newey as the Englishman is contracted to Red Bull for the foreseeable future.
