So it's official the FIA has revealed what number's F1 drivers will use for the rest of their careers starting from this season. Following the lead of NASCAR and IndyCar in America driver's will have permanent number's.
As I reported recently the Number 1 will be allocated to the reigning World Champion so Sebastian Vettel will car that number, however, the German has requested the number five when he eventually gives up the driver's crown.
So the list in full is as follows:

Daniel Ricciardo - 3
Mercedes AMG
Nico Rosberg - 6
Lewis Hamilton - 44
Ferrari
Kimi Raikkonen - 7
Fernando Alonso - 14

The Marussia F1 Team are yet to confirm their second driver for 2014 however it is expected that Max Chilton will remain at the team. Meanwhile the Caterham F1 Team have not yet confirmed any of their drivers for this season so as a result their number's are to be confirmed however I will update this article as soon as we know who is driving the second Marussia and both Caterham cars.
So are you happy with your favourite drivers choices? The news also means that team's can go ahead and release driver merchandise such as caps and t-shirts with their number's on them. The great news about this is that as fans we won't have to change merchandise too often unless a driver switches teams or if a team gets a new sponsor.
