Ferrari the latest team to confirm launch date

Ferrari have become the latest team to confirm that they will launch their new car prior to the start of preseason testing.

Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso will take the wraps off their F1 challenger on Saturday 25th January just a day after McLaren launch their car.

In a statement the Italian team also confirmed that they have narrowed the shortlist of names for their new car down to five. The team's fans have until Friday 24th January to choose the name of the new Ferrari. The choices are as follows: F14 T, F14Maranello, F14 Scuderia, F166 Turbo or F616.

The name of the new car will be confirmed on the day of the launch. So far, Ferrari, Williams, Mercedes, McLaren and Caterham have all confirmed their launch plans.
