Hamilton crashes new W05

Mercedes AMG F1's Lewis Hamilton has crashed the W05 heavily at turn 1 in Jerez resulting in there being substantial damage to the new car and it would appear that he has been forced to sit out the rest of the day of today's test.

Lewis got out of the car and is ok.

UPDATE 12:25: Mercedes have confirmed Lewis Hamilton's car failure was due to a front wing failure.
