(Marussia F1 Team)
The Marussia F1 Team have made great progress over the last two days of running at Jerez. Having missed the opening two days of the first test Jules Pianchi, who took over running from Max Chilton today is currently in 7th place on the timesheets.
The new car looks very plain compared to their rivals however it has shown that it is a really quick car and Max Chilton was absolutely delighted with his running in the car yesterday.
The Frenchman is currently ahead of the Sauber of Adrian Sutil, Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat, Caterham's Kamui Kobayashi and Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo who finished their test just before lunch time.
The Marussia F1 Team have done a fantastic job with limited running when you consider that the teamare only into their second day of winter testing. Of course it is only the opening week of winter testing so the times aren't really relevant at this early stage in testing.
