ERS issue curtails Renault powered team's

Renault sport have confirmed this evening that a technical issue with their Energy recovery system was the reason for the lack of running from their team''s in Jerez today. Sebastian Vettel left the circuit early after stopping out on track after just eight laps as a result of the problem while Toro Rosso did no running at all today. The Caterham F1 however, did manage to get some running in with Marcus Ericcson.

Renault are confident that they will be able to solve the issue over night and their team's will be in a position to complete their planned running tomorrow.
