The new Ferrari powered Marussia MR-03 made its track debut in Jerez this afternoon with Max Chilton at the wheel.

The team delayed that they have been extremely impressed with Ferrari so far. The team have had ten Ferrari personnel at their facility in Banbury to help with the installation of the new Ferrari 1.6 litre V6 turbocharged engine.

The team were forced to postpone the debut running of their new car as they discovered a glitch with the car. The teams other driver, Frenchman Jules Bianchi will take over testing tomorrow for the final day of testing in Jerez.

The new car features a simple front wing and nose assembly just like the Williams FW36.
