Ferrari have confirmed that their 2014 F1 car will be called the F14T after fans were given the opportunity to name the new car. Five names were shortlisted and with 369,711 F14T was chosen.
The new name marks the beginning of an new era in Formula One as the sport switches to 1.6 litre V6 turbo charged power plants and the name shows that Ferrari, 2014 Turbo.
The team also confirmed via their official Twitter account this morning that their new car will be presented to the media at 2.30PM CET tomorrow with both Fernando Alonso and new signing Kimi Raikkonen both in attendance at the presentation.
