Caterham end final day early

The Caterham F1 Team have become the latest team to end their Jerez test early following a power train component failure on Kamui Kobayashi's car.

Earlier today Red Bull Racing packed up and headed back to their base in Milton Keynes. Despite Caterham's early finish they can be very positive with their work as Kamui Kobayashi completed a total of 54 laps with a fastest time of the of 1m 43.193.

In the space of one day the Leafield based squad have completed more laps then Red Bull Racing's total for the week as the reigning world champions have completed only 21 laps this week.

With just over an hour left on the final day of testing in Jerez, Felipe Massa currently leads the way for the Williams F1 Team followed by Daniel Juncadella in the Force India VJM07, Fernando Alonso is third with Lewis Hamilton in fourth.
