Toro Rosso to launch on the eve of preseason testing

(Ben Johnston 2014)

Toro Rosso have become the latest team to confirm their launch plans with the Italian team announcing this afternoon that they will present their new car to media on Monday 27th January.

This season Russian driver Daniil Kvyat will drive for the team alongside Jean Eric Vergne as Daniel Ricciardo moves up to Red Bull Racing replacing the World Endurance Championship bound Mark Webber.

The team don't just have a new driver on board for 2014 but they also have a new engine supplier in the form of Renault who also supply their sister team and reigning world champions Red Bull Racing.

Kvyat has already driven for the team during the final Friday practice session of last season in Brazil and showed that he was extremely quick. It will be interesting to see how he gets on this season.
