Another three year's for Pirelli

The FIA have confirmed that Pirelli Motorsport will continue as Formula One's sole tyre supplier for the next three years starting in 2014.

As a result of the new agreement the FIA, Pirelli and the team's have agreed that one day during preseason testing will be put aside and will be exclusively used for wet tyre running.

The FIA have also confirmed that the team's we will have one day dedicated to the development of the new 2014 tyres. The new agreement also means that Pirelli will continue to collaborate with the FIA and in  new deal they are going to work together on the FIA's Action On Road Safety campaign.

The new deal means that 2014 will be Pirelli's fifth season in F1 having entered the sport in 2010. Pirelli were involved in controversy last season when a number of their tyre's suffered catastrophic failures during the British Grand Prix however the Italian manufacturer has assured teams that their will be no repeat of what happened to their tyres this season.
